I really enjoy Decibel Geek , Chris and Aaron are excellent hosts, great chemistry , really informative on new music plus they also discuss music from the 60s onward , 80s particularly is a nostalgic era for hard rock for me.
Thanks guys , your pod really lightens up my week . Keep it up!!
I have been a loyal listener for almost the entire length of the show and let me tell ya it’s one of the best shows out there for hard rock and heavy metal music and the best part? THEY SUPPORT NEWER BANDS!! I’ve become really close friend with Chris and Aaron over the last few years and if I could give 5 pink stars I definitely would but just Like Vinnie Vincent those are coming in the mail for a hefty fee of $5000 and a letter that says I SAVED KISS!!! Hope you get a great laugh reading this
Chris and Aaron really are a step above all the other music podcasts. The cream of the crop

I would also love to hear anything on Salty Dog, The Scream or Spread Eagle. Three very underrated bands from the 80’s.
Keep up the excellent work though. ... more

Until now! These guys have awakened me from my slumber and actually introduced me to NEW bands that can write great old-school rock songs, with catchy melodies, crunchy riffs, and hooks for miles! The old classics remain, but are now being built upon by new school rockers!
But, without Decibel Geek, I would still be completely oblivious to these ... more
