By bringing back the patronage system, a new alien species has transformed the moon into the new artistic center of the universe, and Sally Ride Lunar Base soon gains the nickname "Mollywood." These aliens can do amazing things with art and the senses, allowing a painting, for example, to stimulate other senses than simply sight. When someone asks a starlet, "Who are you wearing?" she could as eas... more

This is a REALLY great story! I Strongly recommend.
I love this story and the entire presentation!
Great story! It had a lot..... in it that made me think!
The story and characters here are top notch. I did not expect to like Marco, but I did, and of course who couldn't love the Red Granny. The sense blending artwork of the Lijune Aliens really elevates it into the realm of true Sci Fi and not just Fantasy in space (which is ok to, mind you). The only problem I have is that the ending feels rushed. I apriciate what Mur was doing with the ending, I just wish there had been another chapter or two to set it up.
This story reminded me of Siglers rookie books. Scifi and all. Go granny!
Though I've never been into sci-fi, Mur put together a great story in an interesting setting. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Marco and the Red Granny and am looking forward to reading/listening to her other work. Also, her podcast "I Should Be Writing" is an awesome resource for aspiring writers.
This is a fairly brief story, 7 epi's of 20-30 min. Finished it in one car trip. The story is fresh, engaging, and has a satisfying ending. It's a "lite" sci-fi that anyone can enjoy.
Definitely recommended

So glad I did. I actually stayed on the elliptical machine longer just so I wouldn't have to turn the story off. The main character isn't a blood sport fan either, so I had something to connect to. It's fairly short so I can't say much without giving too much away, but I really enjoyed listening. While itunes... more
