  • Spitting truth

Keep calling men forward to rise and keep expanding our knowledge of what a real man looks like. So much value here. Thank you!

  • Important info but still defends men’s bad behavior at times

I am glad he is putting this content out there- men need as much of it as they can get. I was disappointed, however, listening to a recent podcast about intimacy and he seemed to be defending men’s bad behavior. I get it, he is a man, but it still isn’t healthy to defend men at large in their dysfunction.

  • Disappointing

After hearing Connor on other podcasts being pretty raw, honest and insightful, decided to start listening to his own podcast. Still occasionally insightful, but a lot of the time he ends up explaining to men what women are thinking and completely missing the mark, buying into the Jordan Peterson school of thought that women don’t actually know what they want so you shouldn’t listen to them because they are ruled by their biology. I mean come on Connor. It’s 2025, get with it. I know you can han... more

  • Sometimes vague and general.

Trying to find the words but sometimes feels vague or general and “rantful” Some episodes better than others. Much also self-explanatory. I know some people may struggle more with simple things. Could go more in-depth, episodes can be short. And feels like most of his personal experience only.

We know some of the stuff already… but want to know how to implement it. Bridging the self awareness to action.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Worst Ages for Kids to Experience Divorce, with Erica Komisar
Q: Can you summarize the two developmental windows where divorce is most risky for kids, and why those periods matter?
The first window is zero to three years, where attachment security is forming; disrupting that bond can impact emotional regulation and long-term mental health. The second window is adolescence, roughly from age 10 to mid-20s, when the brain prunes and reorganizes; stress or instability then can have outsized effects on identity, relationships, and emotional health. The core idea is that timing and quality of parenting during these periods determine the child's resilience.
Avoiding The Lonely Dad Trap: Why Modern Fathers Are Burning Out in Isolation, with Jon Gustin
Q: How can dads combat loneliness and build a supportive community?
Dads can create small, reliable social rituals, seek out mentors or peer groups, engage in activities like sports or hobbies, and consciously arrange for role models to be present in their kids' lives, ensuring they don't become isolated islands.
Fixing Anxiety and Addiction from Childhood Confusion - Live Coaching Session
Q: What practical steps can you take to start rebuilding trust in yourself?
Adopt a two-question decision framework, practice inner-child re-parenting, set boundaries with the inner critic, and cultivate a daily practice of self-recognition and safe self-talk.
Fixing Anxiety and Addiction from Childhood Confusion - Live Coaching Session
Q: How does childhood environment influence your current sense of safety and trust?
The host guides the guest through recognizing intense emotional environments in childhood, lack of emotional regulation, and how these shape an internal critic and coping strategies.
Fixing Anxiety and Addiction from Childhood Confusion - Live Coaching Session
Q: What brought you to this session and what are you hoping to address?
The guest describes a difficult year with addiction, trauma, and relationship strains, with a focus on self-worth and how childhood dynamics contribute to present struggles.
