Listened to the Clancy episode. Your lack of education around Postpartum psychosis, psychiatric care and pharmacology is apparent. You are making judgements about her medication regimen with no insight into the actual timeline of prescriptions, why it was prescribed, when and with what parameters. For example, were these meds on a routine basis or as needed? Were some ordered and promptly discontinued? You have no insight into how she was taking them, what was discontinued and what was titrated... more
Can’t agree more ….. “lock her up and throw away the key” is not the answer. So closed minded and uneducated. No empathy and clearly have never had any sort of mental health issues or family members with them. Keep advocating you’re amazing!
