Jesus recaps 2 of his 3 main teachings:
1. Don't try to cover up your sins with good works. God knows your heart.
2. No one is less important than anyone else in the Kingdom of God.
Welcoming children and plucking out your own eye - a lesson in humility.
Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up to a mountain where they see His glory.
Jesus heals a blind man, but it takes two tries. Then Jesus and Peter get into an argument, and Jesus calls him Satan.
Jesus heals a deaf man, and the Pharisees demand a sign.
Jesus tells a woman that is begging for his help, "It is not right to take the children's bread and feed it to the dogs." That sounds harsh, but what does it mean?
I'm very impressed with Pastor Frank. His love of God is obvious, his passion for the Word is easy to hear, and his education shines through. Pastor Frank is also a great speaker: he's engaging and enlightening, never dull or condescending. I pray and hope that this podcast has a long, long life!
Went looking for this very thing and this was the only podcast I found like it. I appreciate the approach and execution as there is a need for bible study like this that is accessible to all more than just once or twice a week. I know it’s a lot of work (and also encourage you to stick to the one a week goal to keep people coming back bc this type of study is valuable). Thanks again!
Just started this podcast and I probably will listen to all episodes very quickly! I like that you explain the verses in an easy to understand way! I hope your podcasts continues and is successful!
I have enjoyed the Lunch Break Bible Study. It has a great length and the content is excellent. Pastor Greene is excellent in his delivery and I hope he continues with it. It is a great idea and listen! Thanks.
Thank you for doing this podcast, Pastor Frank! I am thoroughly enjoying it. I like how you are going through a book of the Bible (Mark right now), and picking it apart - providing details such as historical background and how passages tie into other parts of the Bible. You have a way of presenting the material in a concise and thorough way.
Pastor Frank does an outstanding job making Jesus and the Disciples relatable. I have a deeper understanding and appreciation of the book of Matthew.
Pastor, you have a way of presenting Bible teachings that is very easy to listen to, with instights I haven't known before. You make 20 minutes go by in a flash. (I know you're thinking to yourself, all glory to God!) Thank you for taking the time to do this. I look forward to continued listening!
What a wonderful way to stay in The Word on a daily basis! Pastor Frank has such a gift of explaining the Bible in the context in which it is written and more importantly, how that applies to us today. Thank you for this gift!
20 minutes is the perfect podcast length to (re)focus your heart on God’s Word while you eat lunch, drive to work, or workout. Frank has great wisdom and a passion for teaching the Gospel. Download and enjoy!
Pastor Frank, I am so glad you felt called to add podcasts to your ministry. A year ago, I went looking for a podcast with strong biblical teaching rooted in gospel truths and I couldn’t find it. Now, I can stop looking. Thank you for giving of your time in this way.
