  • An excellent set of health economic podcasts

Friebel and colleagues walk us through some of the most topical and anxiety-provoking aspects of NHS life. Privatisation, high-cost drugs and the dreaded ‘E’ word (efficiency)!

I particularly enjoyed the one on privatisation, although having lived through a desperate series of ‘three letter acronyms’..

Factual, well-balanced and occasionally funny, the series is grounded in fact.. a soothing antidote to the all-too-familiar political clap-trap.
