  • More orchestras should engage audience like LPO

This is a great classical music podcast! The host is an excellent and enthusiastic interviewer. Although already knowledgeable of classical music and the orchestra, she is genuinely interested in what her interviewees have to say. The orchestra members are always engaged and are excited to talk about their roles in the LPO. I wish more orchestras would take advantage of podcasts to engage with the orchestra. It's too bad iTunes/Apple has a terrible indexing system. It's nearly impossible t... more

  • Excellent insights

A really enjoyable podcast that gives great insights into the everyday world of classical musicians. I was lucky enough as a member the Hallé Choir to sing alongside the chorus when the LPO performed Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius and it was a great experience. It would if you could feature chorus members more often - maybe an episode on Janacek’s wild and wonderful Glagolitic Mass that I see the choir are performing in May?

For a regular long term concert attender , these insights are fascinating and a delight to hear that while the musicians are such highly skilled and experienced professionals, they are ordinary people with a good sense of humour. I only wish there were other similar podcasts with performers sharing insights into ... more
