As someone who is constantly overextending myself to take care of others, I found this show so incredibly helpful! I loved the episode on being kind vs codependent. It resonated a lot with me and made me realize I need to make some changes. Definitely will be listening to more episodes!
I’m not a mom but I do tend to overextend myself with friends, family & co-workers due to the perception that I have more time & energy without kids. Susie’s episode about “caring for everyone but yourself” felt like a deep inhale & exhale - realizing that self neglect and putting our needs last can also put our own health at risk.
