Cam is one of the very few “Locked On” hosts memorable enough (often by his rants, which are absolutely EPIC) for me to tune into as a non-fan. He has a smooth delivery that I’d put up there with any national sports talk radio host in the country. The passion he feels for his alma mater and his frustration with the current state of the football program are nearly palpable coming across the airwaves. Hope Baylor turns it around and recommits to a winning football program.
Cam is one of the very few “Locked On” hosts memorable enough (often by his rants, which are epic) for me to tune into as a non-fan. He did a great job as a SOLO act. Nothing against the new folks, but I don’t like, want, or need a co-host. It’s true that some of the Locked On shows could benefit from a co-host; Baylor’s podcast was NOT one. Very disappointed.
Ex-Mormon here. I know he’s a fan first, but his baseless accusations of the LDS church of paying for transfers is just that: baseless. If he actually did his research, he’d know that BYU’s NIL money comes from a great number of donors. Gotta give it to him though, he’s a fan. Can’t just drag a religion’s name through the mud like this though.
Update: walked back this claim as described above. Like I said, he’s a fan first, which I respect. I enjoy his commentary on The Big 12 Squad pods! You’r... more
Why would you go at the church for tampering bro. you know nothing. BYU doesn't get money from the church. Very messed up host.
Once in a while if you’re lucky, two of your favorite things in life collide in a big way. This happened to me the other day when Dave Aranda used a scene from The Three Amigos in an analogy! I love Dave Aranda, and I love that movie! Thanks for keeping it all alive for me, your analysis of it was hilarious, and thanks for continuing to refer to it in todays show! I’m heading off for a well deserved vacation to Santa Poco, but have a good one, Cam.
