  • Like the variety but

I love the guests on this podcast, each one brings a little token of knowledge. What I don’t like it’s that it’s one sided. I feel the host doesn’t do much interaction w the guest. I love that the guest have the platform to share their story but I never hear from the host. Sometimes a conversation where the host can share their own relatable experience makes it more enjoyable.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Robin Arzon: The Power of Swagger, Plant-Based Fuel, and a Kitchen Dance Party
Q: How does Robin define swagger and why is it central to Project Swagger?
Swagger is an inner knowing and confidence that can be expressed outwardly; it serves as a toolkit for listeners to step into their fullest selves and take actionable steps daily.
Robin Arzon: The Power of Swagger, Plant-Based Fuel, and a Kitchen Dance Party
Q: What is the nutrition philosophy behind Eat To Hustle?
A plant-based, protein-forward approach designed to fuel intense training, with recipes tested during long training days to ensure energy and recovery without dairy or meat.
Hayley & Stephanie Painter of Painterland Sisters: Regenerative Farming and Moving the Dairy Industry Forward with Purpose - Throwback
Q: What role does family and sisterhood play in sustaining the business?
We lean on each other as co-CEOs, navigating tensions with grounding family values, boundaries, and shared mission, which keeps the business aligned with the farm's sustainability goals and helps us responsibly grow a national brand.
Hayley & Stephanie Painter of Painterland Sisters: Regenerative Farming and Moving the Dairy Industry Forward with Purpose - Throwback
Q: What were the biggest hurdles in scaling to retail?
We started with a deep learning curve—learning terms like co-packers, DCs, broker networks—while simultaneously building a team, securing funding, and negotiating with distributors. The key was surrounding ourselves with experts, writing a 120-page business plan, and proving the model could scale while keeping the farm's integrity.
Hayley & Stephanie Painter of Painterland Sisters: Regenerative Farming and Moving the Dairy Industry Forward with Purpose - Throwback
Q: How did you decide to enter the yogurt category given the industry's traditional stance?
We saw a gap where high-quality, nutrient-dense dairy could tell the real farm story, so we challenged the status quo by focusing on regenerative farming, quality ingredients, and direct consumer education, even when others doubted that yogurt could be a viable path for a fourth-generation farm.
