When I first started diving down the lipedema rabbit hole, I came across the lipedema mama’s podcast and immediately was drawn in. Ashley and Shawn or so down to earth and so relatable. I feel like I am sitting on the patio with them having a conversation. The speakers they have interviewed have given me so much information in which to navigate this new revelation of a lipedema diagnosis. Thank you so much for raising awareness and helping so many of us understand lipedema..
Content and hosts are great! So much helpful information!
However the podcast quality is rough. Speech cuts out all the time and the ads cut into the middle of a question.
Wish it was more pleasant to listen to because I have learned a lot!
I gave this podcast 2 tries. It appears to be a running ad for products and services as there are ads at the beginning and in the middle of the podcast: very disingenuous. Also, it appears a couple guests recommend doing what you want and avoiding advice from medical professionals. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of the one guest who had her lipedema fitness program…that is very sad and unfortunate news. I really love this podcast. I’ve learnt so much from Shawn and Ashley. One star taken because the quality of the recording is hard to listen to sometimes. Some episodes sound like everyone has a lisp.
Thank you so much for making all these podcasts. Started following you on Instagram- not sure how or why you showed up in my feed but so happy you did. It’s so nice to know I’m not alone that it’s not just me and it’s not that I’m doing something wrong. Constantly being told I’m overweight my whole life. The podcasts with the doctors are so informative. Im just at the start of my journey and figuring out what next and you are so helpful. So thank you
