Hands down - the top DTC pod for proven sales and marketing execution advice and strategies given with impeccable detail, backed by Nik’s direct experience with brands across multiple segments. As a traditional retail-experienced brand founder and operator who is new to DTC, I feel emboldened and better prepared to take my DTC brand from 0-1 by being a regular listener to Nik and Limited Supply.
I know this podcast is geared towards DTC mostly, but their discussion on Faire last year missed the mark. They seemed surprised by standard wholesale practices like offering products at keystone pricing (50% off), which is very typical and not some shocking discount. From my experience managing multiple brands on the platform, you can select who you sell to and are less likely to deal with the whole Amazon situation they were describing. Overall, the episode felt under-researched.
I’ve learned so much from Nik listing to this podcast. Now listening back to previous episodes. Hope to join the Slack channel but having some difficulty so hopefully can soon.
Every episode teaches SO much! Highly recommended!
I wonder if Nik could has some case studies on POD shops that did branding so good, you couldn’t even tell they’re POD.
