I don’t normally write reviews but I have to get this off my chest. Wow. What an unbelievably tough listen that was. Sounds like a bunch of politics undergraduates who’ve done half of the reading for a seminar but are still trying to outdo each other. To be fair to them, though, I listened to the episode on the failure of Your Party and came away crystal clear on why it failed so catastrophically…
A few of the most interesting and engaging people on the left (actual left). Always very nuanced, well argued and non-dogmatic.
Very informative, engaging and thought-provoking. As a Greeny, it’s good to get some insider gossip too. Thanks to all involved!

Episodes mix analysis of party structures, electoral strategy, and identity politics, often highlighting how local organizing connects to broader social issues. A notable throughline is the tension between democratic participation and factionalism within new left movements, delivered through candid debates and insider perspectives that appeal to politically engaged listeners who crave practical insights for organizing and messaging.
What stands out is the emphasis on grassroots democracy, accountability, and real-world campaigning in emerging left parties. L... more
