I am a very late listener, only found out this existed 5 days ago. Already up to episode 14, very much enjoying the silliness and have laughed out loud so many times. I was a little swot at school, but I just love the chaos Laura brings to these lessons, and Ron’s steadfast resignation to repeatedly making the point he has researched in spite of distractions cracks me up. Looking forward to catching up on the whole back catalogue over the next few months, what a treat!
Have just started listening to this podcast having known about it for a while and knowing Laura herself when I was in my first year at UKC and she was in her fourth and working on her year group’s Experimental Comedy shows. She’s just how I remember her and I gave a whoop when she listed the colleges.
Listening to the “down” episode had me in hysterics at Laura’s chaotic neutral energy gradually making Ron lose the will to live throughout the episode as she insisted the table wasn’t “pushing” b... more
I’ve recently started a re-listen, I’m up to about halfway through and I’m loving it even more this time round. SO funny, so friendly, lots of silliness amongst the science. As I’ve said in the title - proper belly laughs. Can’t recommend enough.
Dear 1 star reviewer, eat a bag of meatty tads
A fun science comedy crossover podcast between two siblings. The barmy interaction between Laura and Ron is gas. Not sure I’m learning much (science was never a strong subject for me), but I still love to listen to it. The theme music is great too, it cheers my heart when I hear it. I’m binge listening in Dublin BTW. More Maki & Gnocchi interruptions pls - heheh..
