Episode 8 - Duck Stamp Art, Conservation, and Legacy with Wildlife Painter Adam Grimm
Q: So can you tell us how the judging process works for the Duck Stamp Contest?
The first round is an in and out round, and the paintings are very small. You put in pretty much your everything into that painting. The second round is scored numerically, and that can vary between judges.
Episode 8 - Duck Stamp Art, Conservation, and Legacy with Wildlife Painter Adam Grimm
Q: When you were first starting out, was it all like pencil sketch stuff or was it like painting or was it just?
I tried painting, but it's kind of like you have to build on the foundation. The drawing is really the foundation and that's what you have to really develop.
Episode 5 - Cheetah Relocation, Conservation Grit, and Rewriting Hunting’s Public Narrative
Q: What are the big projects right now that you guys are working on?
We've involved in the wild horse issue, working on a documentary about ballot box initiatives in Colorado, and we're also focusing on a new projects around rhino horn trade.
