  • Zach is horrible

He is a narcissist and it was painful to listen to the episode with Rachel. I can't fathom flipping my in laws off and then saying I have nothing to apologize for years later.

  • Zach ranks on top - keep it to the sisters

I listen to this weekly as I walk and I really look forward to it! I am so surprised at how much I like Zach as a host, I would not have guessed how good he would be at it! He keeps thinks on track, I love his personality and he is very natural at it! Episode 12 was the first one I lost interest in almost immediately. I think bringing in guests could ruin it a little for me - I enjoy the sister/zach banter way more. I'll try the Josie epi today, and I love her so we will see how I like it!

  • Love it…

This podcast has been entertaining me on my runs lately and that’s gotten hard to do! I also feel like it has shown a better side to Amy, I didn’t know she was so funny…. The four sister thing is gold, it reminds me of my three sisters and I. Anyway, I think it’s great, keep going.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 12: She Quit Door-to-Door Sales and Built MacroHabits from Nothing
Q: What moment led you to start MacroHabits?
A low point during a door-to-door blitz in New Mexico made me realize I needed a business of my own because the drive to succeed and help others with nutrition outweighed staying in that role.
Episode 12: She Quit Door-to-Door Sales and Built MacroHabits from Nothing
Q: What is your most controversial food opinion?
You don't need to stay in a chronic deficit to achieve a dream physique; sustainable progress comes from balanced macro management, not perpetual cutting, and recognizing the long-term health impacts of chronic dieting.
Episode 12: She Quit Door-to-Door Sales and Built MacroHabits from Nothing
Q: Can you explain reverse dieting in detail?
Reverse dieting involves slowly and gradually increasing macronutrients over weeks to awaken a sluggish metabolism and allow for healthier body recomposition without jumping into large caloric surpluses or drastic cuts.
Episode 13: The Weekly Trash Is on Trial (ft. Josie Van Dyke)
Q: How did you decide to start your podcast and what was the early plan?
Josie explains she started solo because she wanted to be unfiltered, then added guests and a Dumpster Deep Dive format as the show evolved, emphasizing that it began as a personal project driven by curiosity and storytelling.
Episode 4: Calling from Hawaii
Q: What are your thoughts on the listener's dilemma about the mother-in-law invitations?
It's unacceptable for a mother-in-law to only invite her son without his wife and kids.
