Gavi making jokes about wishing he is a man in these types of cults undermines very serious harm that women have undergone throughout history. Wish someone would keep him in check.

Gavi is pretty intolerant of any religion other than Judaism. He often makes fun of Christian beliefs, both fundamental and progressive. He has dismissed ALL pagan religions as if they shouldn’t even be discussed (and it’s pretty clear that he holds strong biases against people who practice these religions, even though it’s obvious that he has ZERO experience with any religions outside of the Abrahamic realm), even when Sadie is trying to educate him on them. Sadie brings such a nuanced and well-researched perspective to cults and cult psychology. She clearly does a lot of work for each episode and has educational and lived experience. Gavi just seems to jump in and offer very simplistic opinions, get angry, and become caught up in tiny details.
