I love this podcast! One of the things I struggle with is having the language to describe the way I grew up. This podcast has helped give me the framework to explain why I don’t go to church or want to associate with them. Why I have so much animosity for Christianity. It also really helped me see the through line of Dobson and how he was directly responsible for the parenting philosophy my family used.
I love these two friends and colleague, and their relationship to each other and their world. They are the warmest and it’s like curling up on the sofa with some nice whiskey and getting angry in the best way about the horror and idiocy of American evangelical patriarchy
