We're taking it allll the way back to the very first Discovery special. A rewatch for me (Whitney) and a side-eyed first watch for me (Tim). In light of some...uh...legal happenings, we look back from the beginnings of this saga to catch the cringe, the red flags, and the tater tot casserole.

We have reached the last of leg of this season’s travel episodes with them in Beijing, China. This gigantic mob always seems to have challenges with subways. Whether it’s tickets, exchange rate, or saying “Gracias” to people in *checks notes*…China; ... more

My #1 Podcast! These two bring so much heart to the Podcast. They feel like friends, and Whitney has a galaxy brain when it comes to deep dives. Highly recommend- exceptional content, even more exceptional people. 10/10

Love the pod! Started four years behind and I’ve finally mostly caught up. You might be my mind’s twin.
I like the beginning when they recap episodes and make jokes but that’s maybe 30 minutes the rest is a deep dive into something completely different and I wasn’t expecting that. I wish the recaps where more of the episodes
Just by the title of this podcast, you know you are in for a wild ride. This podcast is fun to listen to around the house doing things or in a car stuck in traffic.
Lays bare the behind the scenes stuff and how the Duggars have tried to sweep it all under the rug, to no avail.
I love this podcast. I smile and laugh (mostly alone while driving) through every episode. Bonus that it also heals a bit of my own religious trauma. Tim and Whitney are a perfect example of the joy of marrying your best friend and I love to hear it!

This show pushes the boundaries of a familiar TV family saga by pairing thorough episode recaps with sharp, humor-laced critique of the culture, control dynamics, and religious rhetoric surrounding the family. Across episodes, the hosts dissect private communications, public appearances, and the larger IBLP/evangelical framework, offering insights into power, consent, and accountability while balancing nostalgia with fearless skepticism. Noteworthy is the hosts' candid chemistry, their ability to connect long-running storylines to broader societal themes, and the podcast's willingness to tackle difficult topics with empathy and humor.
