  • So excited this podcast has finally dropped 👏💃🏻

Listening to the trailer I was nodding my head in agreement. I could relate to all those experiences- never really having been taught about money in school, being ashamed and embarrassed as an adult to say that I had poor money habits (and didn’t know why?!) as well as just thinking it’s all too hard and complicated. So really glad that Molly is here with her guests to help women all over, get their money sorted once and for all! Excited to listen in 💃🏻

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How to Raise Rich Kids: Money Lessons Every Parent Should Know
Q: What are the core sections of the book and how are they structured for parents with kids at different ages?
The book is divided into three sections: first, a money mindset exploration to address the emotional aspects of money; second, age-based guidance (under five, five to ten, ten to fifteen, fifteen to twenty) with age-appropriate conversations and investments; and third, a comprehensive look at different investment types with simple explanations to gatekeep complex financial language.
How to Save Hundreds on Your Household Bills in 2026 | Energy, Insurance & Grocery Savings Ft Joel Gibson
Q: What is the single most important bill to tackle first and why?
Start with utilities and telco because those are easy to switch, data shows many are not on the cheapest plan, and early wins build momentum for broader savings including insurance later.
How to Save Hundreds on Your Household Bills in 2026 | Energy, Insurance & Grocery Savings Ft Joel Gibson
Q: What is the bill rising situation we're in at the moment, and what does it mean for people's emotions?
The guests describe multiple overlapping crises over the last decade (COVID, Ukraine war, energy shocks) causing inflation spikes and a sense of reduced financial freedom, but emphasize practical steps listeners can take now to protect themselves.
How to Navigate Aged Care in Australia: Costs, Government Subsidies and What to Do When Mum or Dad Needs Help
Q: And this is a big question. So what does aged care cost in Australia? And then are there government subsidies or schemes that people should be tapping into?
There are two main worlds—Residential Aged Care and the home care world—with several programs under the latter, including home care packages and the Commonwealth Home Support Program. Costs are means tested based on assets and income, and government funding covers clinical care, while other services incur co-contributions that vary widely from a small amount to substantial percentages depending on your financial position. Accommodation costs are separate, with options to pay RAD or DAP, and there are additional fees such as hoteling, non-clinical care contributions, and potentially higher everyday living fees. Planning early and understanding eligibility through My Aged Care helps determine what subsidies and supports you can access.
Home Batteries 101: How to Cut Your Power Bill
Q: What's the biggest mistake people make when buying a battery?
The biggest mistake is not sizing the system correctly; many wish they had bought a bigger battery initially, rather than under-sizing and needing an upgrade later.
