I'm writing this review just after listening to his first episode. I was so shocked with a well thought out story, music, its cozy atmosphere, and combination of English and Japanese. It is very interesting to know what foreign travelers see "Japan" with their perspectives, just like this host. Even though I'm a Japanese, there was a lot of new information about which I learned from this. more
Yuko-san and Micah-san are producing a show that avoids the pitfalls of other language-oriented, repeat-after-me podcasts. They’ve found the right balance of English and Japanese to communicate ideas and cultural themes, and as a result you can’t help but pick up phrases and new words. A very well produced (and fun) podcast. more
As someone who‘s trying to learn Japanese in an organic way I find this podcast just great. The hosts have very nice caracters and voices that don‘t make your ears wanna fall off. They always find a way to convey information in a way that is engaging and enjoyable, and don‘t joke around to the point where it get‘s annoying. Still they find ways to put funny twists on things. more
