I’ve been trading for 15 years. These guys offer honest financial advise and non-partisan reviews of politics that impact financials.
One of the few podcasts that actually thinks.
Most shows either chase headlines or push a narrative. This one takes a step back and tries to understand what’s really going on—especially when markets, oil, and geopolitics don’t line up the way they should.
What stands out is the willingness to sit in uncertainty instead of forcing a conclusion. That’s rare.
If you’re looking for real perspective instead of noise, this is worth your time.
The speakers reiterate the same themes incessantly. Zack is repeatedly self-congratulatory. We hear a lot about their successes but never about their failures. They spend way too much time talking football yet their playoff predictions were ridiculously poor (of course, they never acknowledged it the Monday after).
This was a 2nd string podcast for me a year ago. Now i place KYRP in the top 5 for market podcasts.
P.S. CD Books from the 90s! 🤘
I listen to you guys almost daily. I loved the show when it was almost exclusively about markets. And while I agree with most of your political/social takes, I can get that discussion on hundreds of other podcasts. Please go back to focusing on markets rather than ranting about what’s wrong with society.

Two hosts drive a macro-focused, risk-aware market show centered on energy dynamics, inflation, and geopolitical developments. They blend real-time market commentary with practical investment ideas, risk controls, and macro scenario planning, frequently tying energy supply, policy actions, and global tensions to portfolio outcomes. A distinctive angle is treating energy and geopolitics as primary market drivers, often promoting educational webinars and advisory services, while maintaining a conversational, decision-tree approach to investing. Listeners likely value skeptical, disciplined analysis and actionable risk management ideas over noise or hype, with an emphasis on retirement-focused strategies and downside protection.
