    I had often found what I had believed to had been certain parts of what I had believed to had been certain recordings of this "KFI Featured Segments" to had been vulgar, unnecessary, negative, unprofessional, and detrimental (usually recordings accessed through hyperlinks with groups of text with parts such as some text of, "@WakeUpCall").

  • This should be called the best of KFI

    I used to spend a lot of time in the car on rush hour drives, but post-COVID not so much. I miss listening to Bill Handel and the rest. I love they’ve picked out the interesting segments and interviews across all of their shows and made them available in podcast format. Now I get the best of KFI on my own schedule and in snack sizes.

    Alex Villanueva is the best Sheriff. Thank goodness there’s a voice of reason in LA County. And he’s right where he needs to be. The board of supervisors needs to let him do his job. I can’t believe the corruption that goes on in LA County. I’m tired of being robbed and being scared. Even in 1992 before the LA riots and when we had all the homicides and gangbangin it wasn’t this bad. The Mexican cartels have run CA’s prisons for decades. They send their kids to school in the USA. The Chinese hel... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

@WakeUpCall – Wired Wednesday with Rich DeMuro
Q: What exactly is changing with Meta's approach to using business data to personalize feeds, and should users be concerned about privacy?
Meta is moving toward a level of personalization where your feed includes content based on a broader set of your online interactions and sites you visit, which can feel intrusive; however, there is a privacy trade-off and users do have the option to turn off certain data sharing.
@WakeUpCall – Wired Wednesday with Rich DeMuro
Q: All right, so would you say that Apple's iOS 27 feature you highlighted is the one most people will notice and appreciate the most, or are there other features to look out for?
Yes, that Siri/iOS 27 integration is likely the standout feature, with faster performance across devices and private, integrated access to information that feels like a more capable, privacy-conscious assistant.
@WakeUpCall – Roger Love, Voice Coach of the Stars
Q: Could he sing before you started, or was he really not good at first?
He loved music and had a natural affinity; we started from scratch and worked over several months until he could sing confidently, which was a pivotal turning point for him and the project.
@WakeUpCall – Ozempic Brain
Q: Let's say good morning now to Dr. Joe Galati. With Ozempic and GLP-1s, is the weight-loss benefit the whole story or are there other effects being watched closely?
There are brain and nervous system effects to GLP-1 medications, with research looking at mood, cravings, and potential broader neurological impacts, though it is still early and not ready for prime time; long-term data and careful monitoring are essential as we learn more.
@WakeUpCall – 2026 Garden Grove Strawberry Festival
Q: When does the festival run and what are the entry details?
The festival runs from Friday around 1 p.m. through Monday night, with free admission but paid rides and foods.
