  • Great Topics

I thoroughly enjoy your podcast because you provide such great information. The speakers are knowledgeable and they appear to be prepared to share their wealth of knowledge with us. However, I feel that you interject way too much and we don’t get to hear all of that great information. Please don’t take this wrong; in my opinion, you’re doing an excellent job with bringing on great topics. I would like to hear more from your guests.

  • Thank you for the empowerment

Been struggling with the industrial medical complex for years. Premiums we can’t afford and high deductibles for a service we never use. Thank you for the conformation, that I can control the outcome of my life.

  • Essential listening for health

No matter what your state of health, I find this podcast full of intelligent info to help women be their healthiest. Jenn is a compassionate and thorough interviewer. I’m 61 and I’m living my best life—part of that has to do with my informed use of hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

  • Confusing?!

I'm confused. Why is this woman claiming she knows how to prevent cancer, yet recommends recipes with toxic sludge seed oils (from her meal plan), AND now she's recommending via a podcast episode GLP1s aka semaglutide?!? This is infuriating! This is WRONG. These shots are linked to cancer! Please explain!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

143: The 5 Thyroid Tests That Change Everything and Why Your Doctor Only Runs One with Dr. Amie Hornaman
Q: What should we be doing beyond TSH when evaluating thyroid function?
We should test free T4, free T3, reverse T3, and antibodies (TPO and TGA) to get a complete view of thyroid status and autoimmune activity; reverse T3 is crucial for understanding if the body is inappropriately resisting or blocking thyroid hormone.
143: The 5 Thyroid Tests That Change Everything and Why Your Doctor Only Runs One with Dr. Amie Hornaman
Q: So I want you to start off by telling us, where did it go wrong? What are we doing wrong? What is mainstream doing wrong?
The conventional approach relies heavily on a single test (TSH) and a linear progression to T4 monotherapy, which misses key markers like free T4, free T3, reverse T3, and antibodies essential to diagnosing Hashimoto's and understanding thyroid hormone conversion.
138: The Cancer Theory That Challenges How We Think About Cancer with Mark Lintern
Q: Before we go, what have you learned that is specific to breast cancer that stands out in your theory?
In breast cancer, malassezia and other fungal pathogens are found in tumors and may interact with estrogen to modulate immune responses, inflammation, and pathogen virulence, potentially driving the infection-based Warburg metabolism that supports tumor growth.
138: The Cancer Theory That Challenges How We Think About Cancer with Mark Lintern
Q: Is it just absolute levels of estrogen or does it have to do with the estrogen-progesterone ratio in affecting cancer risk through infection dynamics?
Estrogen influences tissue growth and immune responses; at certain levels it can shift the immune balance toward TH2, which may permit pathogen-driven infection to promote a Warburg-like metabolism and cancer progression. The effect is context-dependent, with low to moderate estrogen potentially beneficial, but higher levels in the presence of tissue damage and pathogens may facilitate infection and cancer progression.
138: The Cancer Theory That Challenges How We Think About Cancer with Mark Lintern
Q: So I want to get into your perspective, but first, give us a little bit about your background. How did you come into this space? How did you get interested in cancer?
I started from a non-traditional background, developed cancer at a young age, and began researching prevention and underlying mechanisms after a friend's death. Through studying the hallmarks of cancer and comparing competing theories, I found the metabolic and pathogen-based explanations more compelling than the conventional somatic mutation theory, which led me to develop the cell suppression framework.
