My favorite way to stay updated on the big stories happening in the area
This is a fantastic podcast for any locals in the KC area. I enjoy listening to podcasts with this format for national and world news, so I’m pleased I found this one focused on local news. The panel format offers some interesting perspectives about what’s happening in the KC area.
Unsubscribed. Even the moderator is left. Definitely not balanced.
I have 15 podcasts on my ipod and this podcast, every week is half the volume of all 14 of my other channels. Please fix your volume issues.
Good info, well produced, and a charming British accent by the host. It’s also laughably one side left leaning editorializing by the members of the panel.

A fast-moving, panel-driven program focused on Kansas City regional news, politics, and policy with regular contributions from local journalists, city officials, and policy analysts. Episodes frequently center on governance, urban development, public safety, infrastructure, and major regional events (e.g., stadium advances, World Cup preparations), often weaving in real-time updates, legislative twists, and voter implications. A distinguishing element is the rotating cast of seasoned local reporters and commentators who provide cross-media perspectives, making it a practical listen for executives and communications teams tracking civic trends and opportunities for engagement or sponsorship in the KC region.
