I love starting my day with local news!
It’s the best (or only?) KC news podcast, but I do wish the structure was a bit stronger. The headlines in the first section are the best part, but there are very few of those. The rest of the podcast then focuses on one story/interview (usually a more human interest piece) that can be hit or miss. Maybe there just aren’t enough local news headlines to fill a podcast each day.
I am a transplant to the Kansas City area and this podcast has helped me feel much more connected to my new community. I love learning about the issues affecting the region and the many amazing people that contribute to this community. 10/10 thank you so much for your amazing reporting!
