  • Almost there

Good topics, angles, guests, discussions, but the hosting is unbalanced. Zack's a strong interviewer... asks good questions and seems genuinely curious to hear and engage with the answers. But he doesn't show much of himself and his personality, which is important in a podcast. Liz has a more interesting and unique voice and subject position, but she is just awful at interviewing, often talking over guests to express her own opinions, or being needlessly and awkwardly confrontational. • Foolish

Interesting conversation about the failings of the Democratic Party in the context of Trumps appeal, but anyone equating antisemitism with antizionism, even a guest while receiving no pushback in 2025 is ahistorical and foolish.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Freddie deBoer: Charlie Kirk's Murder Reveals a Cultural Sickness
Q: What is it about our current moment that's giving you that feeling?
Freddie expresses that there's a profound lack of meaning and that young people today are steeped in digital domains that do not contribute to a healthy sense of self, leading to confusion and extremism.
Bob Murphy: Are We Flirting with Fascism?
Q: How credible do you think what Hassett is saying is there, Bob, when he's reassuring us not to worry?
What I'm saying is we had to first make Trump permanent king, and then I'm on board with everything, but I want to do it the right way, above board.
Bob Murphy: Are We Flirting with Fascism?
Q: Bob, is this capitalism?
It's not capitalism. I agree. It's not socialism.
Rob Henderson: Why Elites Still Worship Socialism
Q: What is a question that you think more people should be asking?
Why do I believe what I believe? We often absorb ideas without thinking about them, and I think it can be a useful exercise to interrogate your own views and how you arrived at them.
Patrick Eddington: How to 'Tyranny-Proof' America
Q: What can I do to help ensure that the Republic survives?
Everyone should be political active and support organizations that uphold liberty.
