The strange but true story behind all those spam job ads for bullshit "marketing" companies. Smart Circle, Cydcor, Credico, Appco, DS-Max, Sociomax, Optimo International, Granton, Innovage... it's all the same shit, just a different pile.

Satirical memes bring the story back around to where it started.
Why won't any of these successful CEOs talk to me about their legitimate businesses?
CEOs come and go but one thing remains the same: failure.
Working for a Cydcor office was my first job out of college and I just stumbled on this podcast after watching Alex Semchuck’s 2025 expanded documentary. This podcast was well researched and objective on what Devilcorp is, how it might appeal to someone and why success is elusive by design. I enjoyed listening and wanted to recommend this to anyone in the field working their way up.
Finally got around to listening to this after you told me about it at the Target I used to work at. I got so tired of hearing those AT&T “reps” blabber to people who were just trying to shop.

You’ll are “entrepreneurial shaming” “you’ll are career shaming” but you spew propaganda about 9-5 shaming. Advise: practice what you preach. Stop trying to profit off of shady tactics. Stop trying to tear down a thousand small companies down, so you can create a cult to build a big following to profit on one big company! The jig is up I see the scam. And now you’re the big boss in the making on top of a pyramid. Stop - this podcast is pathetic and tasteless! And you’re trying to get all these p... more
I worked for Cydcore for 5 months. The name of the company was “Slight Edge.” In Philadelphia. I had gotten promoted to Corporate Trainer and was one of the top sellers in our office. After being screwed over again and again and work out I found this podcast and Slave Circle. Y’all saved me thank you! I now work in finance and have never been happier.
