  • I like how respectful he was with Jason Genova

I think he’s a great interviewer and very respectful to say the least. I don’t know how he got through the interview without laughing the whole way but I liked how kept his composure in most of it. Having the Piss Lord in it and not drowning in the piss was probably the hardest thing he’s ever done and I applaud him for it.

Jason Genova, you do you man. If you read this, I can see you haven’t change your delusional ways. Absolutely pissening! Hopefully you decide to comeback to social media in ... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Tendinopathy & Neuroscience with Dr. Patrick Vallance
Q: You mentioned self-paced training versus metronome-paced training; how do these approaches differ in practice and why might one be preferred for certain patients?
Metronome-paced training externally guides movement timing and seems to reduce cortical inhibition, whereas self-paced training allows the patient to set their own tempo, which can boost reticulospinal excitability and improve strength and power. The choice may depend on whether the goal is to reduce cortical inhibition or enhance spinal excitability, and individual responses may vary based on the patient's neural profile.
Ethan and Jordan Pimstone: 52.5 Inch Vertical Jump Training
Q: What is the next plan after the world-record jump?
The plan is to continue training with a focus on elastic properties, sprinting, and maintaining tendon health while gradually increasing jump volume. They aim to re-test and potentially break the record again when conditions are favorable, while expanding training offerings online.
Finn Addy on Rehabbing Jumper's Knee with a 45-inch Vertical
Q: How did your lifting program change after the initial call?
We started with pain-free or minimal-load lifting and gradually added weight over three to four months, focusing on squats, leg extensions, and controlled calf work.
Finn Addy on Rehabbing Jumper's Knee with a 45-inch Vertical
Q: What approach did you take after the initial injury to start regaining function?
We shifted from rest to graded exposure, using low-risk jump loads (e.g., low rim) at partial effort, while gradually increasing load as pain allowed.
Finn Addy on Rehabbing Jumper's Knee with a 45-inch Vertical
Q: What happened on the day the injury first spiked, and how did you respond at that moment?
The injury occurred during a dunk attempt when attempting a one-leg jump; the knee worsened to a point where jumping became impossible, leading to a period of rest and then a rebuilding phase with guided rehab.
