the hosts live in a bubble where they are convinced they are funny. really drags the show down in parts.
also, I have to point out that the one co-host is clueless. when discussing Fomenko’s New Chronology his partner mentions “Aristotle was contemporary to Alexander the Great” which illicits a “oooooohkaaaaaayyy” of derision from the other one as if to say that was a far out theory by Fomenko. Something like "I didn't watch/read the [films/docs], but here's my full throated assertion of the creator based on what I didn't verify- Let's go with what someone who abhors him says instead" doesn't give me any confidence you understand your chosen episode topic. Think outside of the divide & conquer/red VS blue paradigm.
