I couldn’t finish the first two interviews. Both the host and guests kept saying “like” in every other sentence. It sounded like I was listening to little girls gossiping.
Delves in to relationships and highlights the red flags. Podcasts like this perform a valuable community service.
I did listen to all the stories. Some were cringe. Like Imo the woman telling the story wasn’t really the victim, but abuser too. Other woman were really fair and open about their past. It was a eyeopener.
I can understand season 1, but season 2 had me frustrated the whole way. Every single time she just “can’t figure out why he was doing this” I’d be yelling, he’s a PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIC. He does not have the ability to fully comprehend what he is doing. No, it doesn’t justify her abuse, but the fact that she continually put herself back with him again and again and again and then didn’t understand his violence or why he was doing this to her? more
Love the content and the host, thank you for giving women and men platform to tell their story to hopefully help others struggling in similar situations. You have inspired me to face my demons and finally talk to someone about the past abuse I have experienced and never worked through. Thank you 🫶🏻
