  • Unbelievable

It’s insane how much I related to the different parts of this story. I was in a different industry, and in Nashville, but experienced a lot of things I shouldn’t have as well. At the time you truly do just go with it because you don’t have the perspective to say, “I shouldn’t be in this situation.” I too was in the hands of an older, possessive, self serving, love bomber that quickly turned my situation around on me after I said, “I do.” It’s wild and so unfortunate that this happens. I just wan... more

  • Master manipulator

I commend Kayla for allowing Rachel to tell her story in the hopes it might help someone. The world is full of well meaning people and master manipulators. In the beginning of a relationship, it can be difficult to tell the difference. This is a fascinating story about a woman who trusted a man that was actually a master at taking her money and controlling her life. I highly recommend this podcast.

  • Thank you for speaking up & sharing this

Situations like this need to be exposed. People like this are toxic, not only in relationships but also in work environments. My life was completely flipped upside down by manipulative business tactics, fraud and a narcissistic employer. I’m thankful that you are shedding light onto this situation because I know so many are affected and are still healing from this type of situation.

  • Thanks for telling your story!

Props to these ladies for discussing this topic. Abuse is so common and often people only think of it as physical, and they don’t even realize things their partners are doing is actually abuse but just emotionally/mentally. I love that they tell this story but also the psychology behind what happened too. As someone who has been through a long relationship with a narcissist, I can relate to this all heavily. Thank you! Excited for the next episodes!
