  • Unmatched in Coverage

The Intercut Podcast is a must-listen for anyone who loves movies and TV. I can't think of another podcast that reviews so many current movies and TV shows with such depth and insight. Whether it's the latest blockbuster or a hidden gem from a film festival, Intercut has it covered. Their early reviews of festival films are particularly valuable, and they do an excellent job reminding us when those films are finally available to watch. Even when they can't attend a festival, they bring on guest... more

  • Nice :)

Great pod that has exposed me to a stupid amount of great film/tv. The only downside is that being an Aussie means all the best recommendations are months away from release locally. Thanks guys, keep it up!!!

Found some fantastic films and television shows from the Festival recaps to the Weekend Must Watch. As a long time viewer I had to finally give that much needed 5 star review

Omaha director Cole Webley on finding the best moments in editing
Q: Why end the film with the specific statistic, and how did you decide on its placement?
The statistic was kept for the end to preserve authenticity and let the audience experience the story through the characters' journeys first, rather than guiding them with expository information from the start.
Omaha director Cole Webley on finding the best moments in editing
Q: How did the relationship with John Magaro influence the film's development?
Magaro's preparation and emotional depth filled gaps where the script didn't specify performance, allowing the director to focus on intimate, quiet moments that shaped the film's heart.
Omaha director Cole Webley on finding the best moments in editing
Q: What were the key steps that allowed you to make the movie after such a long journey?
Self-financing the project using savings from commercial work, partnering with a devoted producer, and a pivotal collaboration with Robert Machoian helped convert a writing sample into a fully realized feature.
Cooper Raiff thinks Hal & Harper is more his tone than anything he’s made | Filmmaker Interview
Q: Did you always know you wanted the adult characters to be played by you and Lily?
It was initially an idea from college, and over time it evolved to reflect the present.
Cooper Raiff thinks Hal & Harper is more his tone than anything he’s made | Filmmaker Interview
Q: What appealed to you about telling this story in a nonlinear fashion?
I wanted to present time in a relatable way that wasn't what viewers were used to.
