This is a real comfort listen for me, after a lame day at work I can put this on for my drive home and have a giggle. Came here when Carly started the titanic podcast but stayed because I love Blair, and Carly and Blair together. Begging the girl historians to do a series on the plague! Please! Black Death! Black Death!
Soooooooo irritating !! I put the first Princess Diana one on and it's based here so English, FFS but no effort had been taken to learn how names and places were said properly. Gave up. Downloaded Kennedy 1, got 40+ minutes in and packed it in as they were STILL yapping about anything BUT the sodding Kennedys. Not for me at all~
At first, I thought it was a fun, easygoing podcast. I had watched a couple of Carly's YouTube videos and enjoyed them, so I thought this would be a good listen for my long work commutes. But it honestly isn't great. It almost feels as if Carly sees it as a battle of the intellect, or maybe a battle of who can speak the most. Blair is lucky to get 10 words in without Carly interrupting her. Carly is mostly fine in her YouTube videos, but on here she comes off as snooty and a bit of a know it all... more
