  • only 1 note

great pod & the hosts have wonderful chemistry but my one (1) note is that I do think they spend too much time on online discourse. “I’m not really on social media like that anymore” and then proceeding to have a 15 minute discussion about various online discourses is unnecessary lol. it’s such inside baseball deep film twt nothingness that genuinely does not exist anywhere else. Who cares! Talk about the movie! But big fan, just wanted to get that off my chest

  • Hard to get through an episode

I want to like this weekly movie podcast but the hosts seem to have watched about ten films made before 2010 between them. Their taste is very basic but they take on this funny attitude of being elite critics which is kinda funny. They love saying “good shout”. The guy seems weirdly bossy like he needs to keep the women reigned it. I’ll give it two stars.

  • Annoying - and with vocal fry!

Sorry - this wasn’t for me. Whatever insight they’ve got is muddled by the vocal fry and off-putting tones of voice. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This podcast has been in my weekly routine for almost 2 years now. So thankful for their insight and recommendations. Best thing is whether they like or dislike a movie, they articulate their thoughts in a respectful fun way!
