Sorry - this wasn’t for me. Whatever insight they’ve got is muddled by the vocal fry and off-putting tones of voice. 🤷🏻♀️
This podcast has been in my weekly routine for almost 2 years now. So thankful for their insight and recommendations. Best thing is whether they like or dislike a movie, they articulate their thoughts in a respectful fun way!
Love this pod, but on the “Send Help” episode you went through Rachel McAdams’ filmography and best performances and y’all acted like “Disobedience” never existed. You ignored the lesbians. Better queer cinema education needed for all of you!
i listen to House of Cinema daily, these guys mean so much to me! always the best part of my day
I like this pod even though i don’t really have the same opinions as them on most movies but i wish they weren’t so stuck on keeping the “structure” of what to talk about in a specific order, i think it would be more enjoyable to listen if they just let the thoughts flow as they come rather than waiting 30 minutes to address something they could’ve just sidetracked for a bit to talk about, idk just something i notice a lot in every episode
