  • Truth in a Time of Lies

This podcast is just what I need; deep thinking in bite sized portions. It reminds me of what is true and good in an atmosphere of lies.

  • Suggestion

It’s a good podcast however it can be difficult to listen to at times. This is because one of the cohosts yells when he talks. He talks very fast at a high volume and it’s somewhat stressful to listen to as they go back-and-forth between a calm slower, normal talker and a fast yelling cohost.

  • This is bad

I just listened to an episode reporting that the genetic similarity of chimps to humans is more like 14-15% as opposed to 1-2%. They literally say after repeating this over and over again that it doesn’t actually prove or even reinforce any ID arguments. They insinuate some sort of intentionality behind the finding be “buried”. The hosts are the ones with an agenda, that much is clear.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Forrest Mims: The Essential Role of Skepticism in Science
Q: How would you define integrity and why does it matter?
Integrity is crucial in science to prevent issues like data falsification and to ensure that the science is defensible.
Marcos Eberlin and Jonathan Wells on Life’s Problem-Solving Engineering
Q: What about all those people who say that science only considers material causes and that what you're talking about is not science?
Science should not be limited to natural causes; it should explore all causes supported by evidence.
Marcos Eberlin and Jonathan Wells on Life’s Problem-Solving Engineering
Q: Marcos, why is the idea of foresight so important to you in origins science?
Foresight is essential because many solutions within life and the universe are necessary immediately and cannot arise gradually; they require a pre-existing mind to predict and address problems.
How Lightning and Water Make Life on Earth Possible
Q: What would you say to someone who says that we have a multiverse and not just this one?
I care for the universe that I can see and the scientific explanations that can be derived from it, which strongly support Intelligent Design as the best explanation for life.
How Lightning and Water Make Life on Earth Possible
Q: Can you tell us briefly what mass spectrometry is and how it has revealed this type of foresight that you're talking about?
Mass spectrometry is an analytical technique that allows for the precise handling of molecules in the gas phase, revealing insights about their composition and properties that suggest foresight in biological systems.
