  • The Conversation Cancer Patients Deserve But Rarely Get

Dr. Karlfeldt creates a space that feels less like an interview and more like a genuine conversation between two people who care deeply about helping others navigate cancer. He's warm, knowledgeable and present and that's rare. As a two-time cancer survivor, I wish I had met Michael long before now. If you're looking for hope beyond the "fight harder" narrative, start here.

I’m a 50 year survivor of late stage cancer from 1974. I left Mayo and went to TJ for nutritional therapy—no chemo, no radiation. Dr. Karlfeldt is such an engaging interviewer—he made my job easy. I felt like this is a Doc I would consult with and consider at non-toxic treatment that he has.

Brian Karr │ Is Mold Making You Sick? Hidden Exposure, the Dust Test & Smarter Remediation
Q: What is the dust test and how does it help link home mold to body exposure?
The dust test screens for mold in the home and can be linked to mycotoxin lab results to show which molds are actually connected to toxins in the body, helping prioritize targeted remediation.
Brian Karr │ Is Mold Making You Sick? Hidden Exposure, the Dust Test & Smarter Remediation
Q: Why is an air sample in the middle of the room not sufficient to assess mold exposure?
Because a single air sample provides a short snapshot that can miss sources; the exposure depends on where people spend time and how air currents carry contaminants, so a broader, source-focused approach is needed.
Dr. Eugene Manley Jr. | Cancer's Hidden Biology and the Research Bias Failing Patients
Q: What role do patient navigators and disparities research play in improving cancer care?
Navigators bridge clinicians and patients, helping interpret complex drug information and trials; disparities research and education empower underserved communities with information and advocacy to access appropriate care and participate in research.
Dr. Cara Fuhrman | What Your Mammogram Isn't Telling You — Breast Cancer Screening, QT Imaging & the Nutritarian Diet
Q: What are the risks of over-testing and over-biopsying, and how does QT Imaging help mitigate this?
The guest argues that reliance on biopsy after traditional imaging can lead to unnecessary procedures, and QT Imaging can reduce unnecessary biopsies by providing clearer, non-invasive assessment and lesion dynamics such as lesion doubling time.
Dr. Cara Fuhrman | What Your Mammogram Isn't Telling You — Breast Cancer Screening, QT Imaging & the Nutritarian Diet
Q: What role does diet play in cancer prevention and how is it integrated with other treatments?
A plant-based, nutrient-dense diet (the G-bombs) is emphasized as foundational, with specific foods and components like cruciferous vegetables and flax seeds highlighted for potential anti-cancer effects and improved outcomes when combined with conventional care.
