I have been a fan of JJ’s music for years but only recently stumbled upon this podcast. What wonderful stories and storytelling they all contain. Thank you to JJ, Dave, and all of their guests for sharing the truth of how these simple, everyday moments have shaped their lives.

I love how they tell stories backwards.

I have never written a review for a podcast, though I listen to several. I even host my own. “Instrumental” is a rare gem of awe and wonder with a unique twist. They view their special guest’s lives in reverse. I was introduced like many people to J.J Heller by the song What Love really means. That is a game changing song but it does not define her anymore than Awesome God defines Rich Mullins. I used to follow Hellers blog and she was an amazing blogger. But the blog doesn't define her either what defines her is the movement of God in her and her husbands life. My family stumbled upon JJ Heller music when we joined MOPS (2018) and received a CD of lullabies...& have the album on repeat almost daily.
