- Too much swearing
Love the topics, and getting people to appreciate the New York outdoors is worth doing. But I can't play this with my kids around, and the constant f-bombs sound forced, like the hosts are trying too hard to seem real. The explicit rating also costs the show advertisers and listeners. There's a lot of good information here, and it gets lost because of it.

I moved back to the Hudson Valley this summer after being away for about 15years, with only occasional visits. This podcast has been an incredible source of inspiration for hikes, history, books, and drives around the Catskills. It’s clued me into so many topics I wasn’t familiar with and reminded me of stories and places I forgot about.
The banter between the guys is hilarious and Tad is quick as a whip with the dad jokes. Absolutely awesome podcast.
