I can see why the marriage ended! I was enjoying this show but since the Mamdani episode Jamie has reverted to type - talking over Christine, overbearing, dogmatic, defensive, arrogant, disrespectful.
I can't listen any more - get a new co-host, Christine - someone who respects you and can engage intelligently without shouting you down - you deserve better!
I quite enjoy this podcast but listening to ex’s talk over each other and sound like they are almost on the edge of a more personal argument is like sitting in a bar with a couple who are having an argument, leaving the rest of the group looking awkwardly around. It’s clear that if this was how they communicated with each other, then the marriage was doomed. Stick to the point and stop scoring points over each other about who is/was the better connected.
Jamie won’t say he is woke?? Woke means you are aware of injustices around us and work to fight for equality. Christiane is fantastic.
Christiane and Jamie are awesome. I love their nuanced discussions and appreciate their voices, especially now.
