Christiane Amanpour, this generation’s GOAT of broadcast journalism, has long defined the gold standard, and her ability to translate incredibly complex global issues with fairness, balance, integrity, and clarity is as strong here as it’s ever been. Hearing her in a more conversational format only reinforces why she’s earned that reputation.

I can see why the marriage ended! I was enjoying this show but since the Mamdani episode Jamie has reverted to type - talking over Christine, overbearing, dogmatic, defensive, arrogant, disrespectful.
I can't listen any more - get a new co-host, Christine - someone who respects you and can engage intelligently without shouting you down - you deserve better!
I quite enjoy this podcast but listening to ex’s talk over each other and sound like they are almost on the edge of a more personal argument is like sitting in a bar with a couple who are having an argument, leaving the rest of the group looking awkwardly around. It’s clear that if this was how they communicated with each other, then the marriage was doomed. Stick to the point and stop scoring points over each other about who is/was the better connected.
