  • Stick with Amanpour!!

Christiane is the only person from CNN whose podcasts I still listen to for news. She serves it up intelligently with integrity and without an agenda.

  • Please Don’t Interrupt

If Christiane could somehow learn to NOT interrupt important guests like David Petraeus, then I would be able to hear what Mr. Petraeus has to say, in response to her pointed questions. Rather than hearing incessant, indignant, and disrespectful interruptions from Ms. Amanpour. Let the man speak !! That is the purpose of the interview for God’s sack! Learn some respect!

    Just my observation

Greetings, Christian. I enjoyed a segment of your recent program on Elon Musk's political views and interference in other nations' elections through his “X” media. I do, however, wish you would address the influence of AIPAC on elections in the free world, particularly in England and the USA. A review of Jimmy Carter's dated interviews may illuminate your listeners. As always, I view your program as the best, most informative, and enlightening.

    Kind Regards

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Israeli Journalist Nir Hasson
Q: What is the reaction inside Israel to your reporting and your conclusions?
About 50% react with anger but the other 50% say it's about time to talk about what happened in Gaza.
Israeli Journalist Nir Hasson
Q: Nir, let me ask you, because these talks are going on, and we've heard nothing but pretty positive, the various spokespeople tell us that, you know, they're continuing and important people are there.
I think my point in the article that you mentioned is that these two disasters that I talked about, the October 7th and the October 8th, are connected.
Israel Marks a Grim Anniversary
Q: What are you hearing from Palestinians there on the ground about how hopeful they are that this time will actually be the end of the war?
Very aware, as they see many ceasefires as charades; however, there is still hope for change if they see concrete actions.
Israel Marks a Grim Anniversary
Q: What continues to give you strength in humanity today?
War is the absence of peace. The only way to change reality is by creating justice and creating peace.
Israel Marks a Grim Anniversary
Q: How does this commemoration today differ for you from even last years?
It is a difficult day for everybody. It's a day when we remember the catastrophe of what happened on October 7th.
