It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. It is worth a listen.
After reaching the end of book one (Call of the Herald) I wasted no time in downloading this one, and as I suspected I was not disappointed. Brian demonstrates a real talent for a story with excellent pace; with perfect balance between light heartedness and deep emotion, thrilling action and laid back enjoyment. The second volume in a great trilogy. The world that Brian Rathbone creates is rich and deep. This is such a wonderful escape that the only downside is not wanted to stop.
Well written, would benefit with a little slower and slightly more emotional read. But that's my only suggestion!
