    I have to admit, that ever since the content of movies began to be dictated by Wall Street and the Chinese Communist Party censors, there have been very few movies that have sounded the least bit interesting to me.

    The last movie we went to see was Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which comic book I had never seen before. That movie was disappointing to me, wondering if it had more actual plot than the classic The Red Balloon.

    The interview with linguist Danny Hieber was the first I listened to in this podcast. I loved the way Don Martin conducted it: on the one hand, they weren't afraid of touching the more technical aspects of the subject, and on the other hand, they were also able to guide the listener in such a fluid way the whole thing became so easily accessible and understandable as to be almost intuitive.
