Hosted by Ben McKenzie (Southland, Gotham). He had an alibi. He didn't have a violent history. And it seemed almost impossible to imagine the crime could have been committed by just one man. But Ronald Trimboli's DNA test, performed in the infancy of DNA testing, was a match. Is it possible he was innocent of the triple murder he was convicted of? IN THE BLOOD presents all the evidence, including ... more

This was a well made podcast, have all the relevant evidence, the first two trials gave no verdict, last trial was about the DNA evidence which when I listened to I thought there a chance he committed these crimes,, then hearing the last episode made me come to decision he could have been guilty, also he could have be innocent, with all the latter evidence he should have been found not guilty, as it wasn't proved beyond reasonable doubt, his children should be applauded for there endless belief.... more
I absolutely love Ben McKenzie’s approach, interview style, and reporting of this absolutely stomach-churning case. While this is a very hard story to digest, it is so important as we are in the era of rapid technological advancement. Loved the podcast I thought it was done so well. Very sad story. I wish they could have had more proof of an alternate suspect.
Good podcast! Love the narrator. The “ya know” guy was cringe had to fast forward and some of the narrative by the lady was just too long for me. Lost my attention at some point overall very good!
Excellent podcast but someone should edit the episode of a juror that said “ya’ know” every third word. I finally had to skip ahead so my head didn’t explode!!
