Why Your Brain Feels Different in Perimenopause — ADHD, Hormones & RSD with Kate Moryoussef
Q: What would you say to anyone who thinks they may be neurodivergent and considering a diagnosis?
I'd say it's worth considering because a diagnosis can bring validation, access to resources, and a clearer sense of what supports will work. It can also be the trigger for healing grief and rebuilding self-esteem after years of misunderstanding.
Why Your Brain Feels Different in Perimenopause — ADHD, Hormones & RSD with Kate Moryoussef
Q: Kate, how did you feel about having the actual diagnosis and what did it help you to do?
I found the diagnosis largely positive because it provided validation and answers I hadn't had before. It helped me understand myself, my childhood, and my family in a new light, and it opened the path to seeking targeted supports for my daughter as well as for my own ongoing learning and growth.
EFT & Money with Theresa Lear Levine
Q: What is the core mechanism by which EFT affects the nervous system?
EFT sends signals to the amygdala to calm fight-or-flight responses, reducing stress hormones and enabling emotional processing that can improve health and performance.
EFT & Money with Theresa Lear Levine
