Guys, I used to love the podcast but the ‘comedy’ accent schtick is starting to really grate. But what I find most offensive is the increasing use of the word ‘queer’. This word hasn’t been universally reclaimed & many of us still find it very offensive. I turned off the Obscure episode where Gays & Lesbians were referred to as ‘queer’. Please stop doing it. It’s especially frustrating when it’s 2 straight men saying it.
If you’re a PSB fan and not listening to this, give your head a wobble. I always wanted to start a PSB podcast but never got round to it. Glad I didn’t now because my knowledge of the band is insignificant to these guys. So in depth (oh, I get it now!)
Love it. Keep it up!
Listening to this Podcast brings me so much joy. Always interesting stories about the world best music duo.
The Halloween episode was hilarious and brilliant! I never realized so many PSB songs could fit into this category! Well done!
I only just found out about this podcast through PSB’s social media which I’m so happy I did because despite being a really big fan of the duo, there’s a lot I don’t know! So I thank these two fans for educating me on the Pop Kids! Side note boys - please turn up the mics you’re so quiet in the mix! Other than that I’m gonna be a serial listener from now on!

Two longtime Pet Shop Boys fans host an in-depth discussion of PSB history, albums, singles, tours, sleeves, remixes, and cultural moments. Across episodes they dissect discographies, explore visual aesthetics, and weave in behind-the-scenes anecdotes, crowd memories, and fandom culture, often tying events to War Child fundraisers and community-building. The show tends to balance technical music-history detail with gossip-worthy lore and fan-oriented storytelling, making it particularly appealing to long-time followers and podcast listeners who enjoy deep dives into a band's creative ecosystem. A standout aspect is the hosts' collaborative, collaborative banter and their willingness to nerd out on craft details (production, design, collabor... more
