Just recently got introduced to this podcast and now I have to go back and listen to nearly 300 prior episodes! Great listen, the host is an authentic Yinzer, and guests are engaging. Looking forward to diving deep on this one!
The podcast market is saturated with either heavily corporatized gloss, or washed up celebrities shilling bland wellness maxims.
This, on the other hand, is what a podcast should be. Humble, unpretentious, curious, hyper-local and community focused - the same things that make Pittsburgh still special in an increasingly homogenized world.
There is really no better podcaster in Pittsburgh. It’s that simple.
Chad takes his guests through an in-depth throwback conversation from childhood to what they’re up to today. Really brings Western Pennsylvania / Pittsburgh individual’s stories to life and true realness, all in his trademark longer interview format. Such a good show to slow down the media rush and truly appreciate the person in the seat! Enjoy!
PA is a big place and I never thought so many local people would be doing such cool things in it! From musicians to photographers, ICYRB has something for everybody. My fav part about this podcast is the host Chad. I really like how he DOESN’T ask the same standard questions you hear on most podcasts. ICYRB cracks into school memories, breaks ups, and just funny teenage “woes” we’ve all dealt with.. def tuning into more. LISTEN UP!
