This entire series was an amazing listen! I’ve been a huge fan of the show for years and it’s so great to hear all the behind the scenes stories. Sounds like such a fun crew!
Also love hearing about the judges and their dynamic, especially being such a big fan of Paula! Really looking forward to the Season 2 podcast - maybe we can get some info on how on earth that crazy kiss skit came about? Still can’t believe Simon and Paula agreed to it 🤣
This podcast already has me hooked. I listened to the entire first season in just two days because it was that interesting. I think that was the most amount of episodes I’ve ever listened to of any podcast and easily the fastest. This is a must for any Idol fan, or anyone who just likes listening to clever commentary on behind the scenes TV gossip.
American Idol had been a huge impact in my life ever since season 3 but I knew some stuff from previous seasons so it’s really interesting what and how it all happened and it’s all thanks to Nigel! There’s some funny stories and amazing facts! I’m looking forward for Season 2!! I can’t wait! 🤗☺️
If you are an American Idol fan (as I am) you will enjoy every second of this podcast! The history of how Idol came about has been fascinating to me! There are so many wonderfully talented artist that have come out of the Idol machine (my favorite David Archuleta)! I cannot wait to hear his segment as well as the others! Would it be possible to do more than one podcast a week! I’m looking forward to hearing it all!!
Nigel, I have always enjoyed your shows and have experienced many many hours of entertainment from American Idol and so you think you can dance. But please… It doesn’t sound like a podcast when it sounds like you are only reading from a script or a book. The interview portions were much better and were more unscripted.
Thoroughly enjoyed Nigels recount of Season 1. American idol was appointment television and it’s great to get an insight into what happened behind the scenes. Can’t wait for the next episode!
I loved American Idol and watching it with my family, guessing who was going to go on to the next round or voted out. Really excited about Idol Memories and learning more about the behind the scenes of the show.
