I enjoy pop culture and try to stay up to date. As the mom of teenagers, I am constantly playing catch up. Which is why I listen to this podcast. Along with the fact that it’s part of Exactly Right media.
I’ve listened several times, and somewhat enjoy their reviews.
When they reviewed this movie , all I kept thinking was, don’t they know this was based on a true story from England?
True life is sometimes not that spectacular and that is what this is based on.
months into their podcastship, it still feels like Millie & Casey aren’t on the same wavelength. 😞 Millie, sometimes you sound like you really don’t respect Casey - e.g., when Casey gently corrected you that Sinners was about vampires & not zombies, & you spent the next several mins trying unsuccessfully to prove him wrong. so painful to listen to!!! i don’t remember you sounding so ungracious before. hope you two can work this odd dynamic out!

I mourned the end of ISWYD but I’m so glad Dear Movies can fill the non-snobby film podcast hole in my ears. The theme song is a sweet little bop and I love the opening skits that Millie and Casey started added in. I like that the hosts have different tastes and backgrounds with film. Employee picks, film diaries and guests have been great!
This podcast is like a warm blanket on a very cold evening and I love it. Millie and Casey both have such delectable voices and relatable yet elevated perspective on cinema. You guys rock. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
