    I happened across this podcast on my LinkedIn feed & thought I would give it a listen. Not only was impressed with Kaila’s facilitation with excellent questions of John Kirwan & his approach to leadership. I learnt a new thing about Performance Care & loved John’s view on Empathy being an essential criteria for leaders into the future. A must listen!

I felt overwhelmed and realized I was becoming public property. I processed it by stepping back, empathizing with the people who supported me, and using the experience to shape how I lead and mentor others.

Q: How did you learn to stay in a good mental space before big races when there were few mental-performance resources available?
I relied on intuition, a supportive circle, and later, deliberate reflection. I noticed energy around me, avoided negative influences, and used music, people, and boundaries to stay present and aligned with my goals.
