As a newer Parliamentarian in the other chamber, I really enjoyed hearing the rich stories and the incredible passion for democracy and our country. I could definitely relate to a lot of what was shared by our honourable colleagues both past and present. This podcast should be required listening for all parliamentarians.
Excellent primer on what it means, on a personal level, to run for federal public office and what happens next. A peek behind the House of Commons curtain that explains an MP’s role and explores its challenges.

This podcast offered an entertaining and accessible view into political life in Canada. I appreciated how the podcast highlighted the honest challenges MPs face. I’d love to know what if anything is being done to address them in a follow-on episode!
